Good Concept-
Also really good animations for a beginner. The animations bug out at times but thats to be expected with an early demo. I do like the charakter art and how the animations look so far.
But this game does need some tweaks even in its current state.
Biggest issues are the readness of the game itself. It is hard to tell what it going on if you change perspective. On the second level i thought there were no assets and i would fall- untill i realized its top down agian.
And the red on red is not helping well with being able to tell what is what. More color variation or higher contrast would help you see what is a platform.
The platforms are also placed inconsistantly, way to close so you get stuck or so far that you cant even see them on the screen.
Another thing that ups the "difficulty" right now are the controlls. Arrow keys is ok, But A, Z and X are impossible to have your fingers on consistanly they are to far apart. If you want to stay with arrow keys as movement, perhabs use Q, E and R for your abilitys, or other common button combos.
I do really like youre idea tho and i would love to see it develop further.
I have never used GDevelop, and perhabs some of the feedback i gave are a limitation of the engine, but i think it would still be insightful to hear them^^
I'll be sure to follow to not miss when you are able to update it
